Leg one of Alaska Canada trip
We arrived in Seattle late in the afternoon East Coast time On Thursday, 4 July. We got over to our very nice airport hotel went for swim and then a nice lunch/dinner. Just before we were heading out for a walk, mom and dad came in from their date to work of the space needle area. We marched-walked the kids up the hill into a neighborhood and back for about 25 minutes and retired to our room and the concierge lounge to read and watch TV etc. Then visited with mom and dad in the lounge for about an hour and by 8 o'clock Seattle time we were ready to try to sleep. Fireworks booming outdoors, small hard bed made it a little tough and we awoke quite early but stayed in bed till 5 AM Seattle time. David, Elena and I went down to the gym which felt great and had a late breakfast in the concierge lounge. We were then treated to a lovely visit by our dear Settipanes. They have been vacationing for over two weeks here visiting Lisa's family and friends and got up at the crack of dawn to come drive to visit us on our layover stop. It was a breath of fresh air to have that chatting time. We then got to the airport in plenty of time ( a wink to Dave).
The new funny: Jonah tends to shuffle along which we occasionally call a waddle however, when trying to get places that he's nervous about I commented that the boy can really hustle. David says "yeah we call it a 'wustle'".

Elena's Little Catch-Up
I find it sad that we don't post in this very often. So I am making myself feel just a little better by posting this.
We're SO busy! Time flies when you're having fun. Mr. G reminded me of that yesterday when he gave my class and me our crazy schedule for the last few weeks of eighth grade! We have less than four weeks left of school, which means Isaac has less than four weeks left of lower school and I have less than four weeks left of middle school. Next year, all three of us will be in different sections of school: Jonah - lower school, Isaac - middle school, me - high school (AHHHH!!!). That's never happened before! Should be interesting.
Anywho, we're all doing great -- including our wonderful kitty, Nemo -- despite our extreme business. We're just as nutty as ever, and PROUD OF IT!!! :)

Library love!
We don't get here nearly enough any more since we're growing up. Love this place of inspiration, distraction, conversation and education.
