Deryl was kind enought to give me author rights to the blog this morning. So now I can post too.
Here's a photo from last week when Doug & Anisa stopped by with their kids for a tour.

7 Days...

Interesting week.  One birthday party down, one to go.
RV mostly packed. We're down to one car which should make for an interesting week. Maybe Dave can commute in The General or I can use it to tote kiddos, etc...
We're heading to DC area for three or four days then down to the outer banks and along the East Coast and into the Keys for the second and third week of Feb. Meeting up w/ friends in a few spots which will be lovely.

Guess how long the entire package is?

Fourteen days to go...anxious, it's like being excited for a wonderful vacation but having to pack and try to prepare for every possible weather condition, auto condition, etc. with kids needs considered also. Trial run w/ RV, whom I have affectionately named "The General", pulling minivan. What a sight. It went well, i.e. didn't run over anything living.
I have  just about all morning, afternoon and evening spots full for the next fourteen days w/ packing, cleaning, organizing, saying goodbye...

Twenty-one days and counting....Feel like I'm in ninth month of pregnancy and just anxious to see what this new life will be. So many differences like living in tighter quarters, getting into some sort of formal education routine, how flexible will I need to be each moment of my life for the next six months? Will I miss anything monumental back home? How long will it be before we are relatively stress-free finding and parking in each campsite? Glad we've done this once before together and so glad I'm twelve years older and hopefully a little wiser (Must breathe. Don't react. It doesn't really matter.)
Anyway, excited to get going...
